Sorry for never finishing the New Zealand updates; I got home and got lazy. Suffice it to say: the glaciers were not as exciting as we had hoped, paragliding in Queenstown was so so much fun (I have pictures if you would like), our day in Milford Sound was gloomy and rainy and misty (and apparently bookended by lovely sunny days--just our luck), the night in Brisbane was hot and sticky and awful (but we did run into Marshall, Swarthmore student of previous frisbee encounter, on the streets--what are the odds?), and the flight home was stressful and long as expected, but I did get to watch lots of movies. Finally arriving at home was amazing and a huge relief. I was ready, for sure, to be back. Someday I'll write a retrospective. I've already written something about one particular aspect of life there, but who knows if I'll ever feel comfortable posting it.
